Margaret H. Oliver, M.M., J.D., Esq., has been assisting families in legal disputes for over ten years.  A former prosecutor, working in the Juvenile Division, and serving as an intern in the Children In Need of Assistance Unit at the Legal Aid Bureau in Baltimore City, Ms. Oliver witnessed the effects of family disputes on the children.   Admitted to the Bar in the State of Maryland and the United States Supreme Court, Ms. Oliver is the current Treasurer of the Women’s Bar Association of Maryland, a Past President of Howard County Collaborative Professionals, Inc. and Past President of the Howard County Women’s Bar Association.  An experienced litigator, Ms. Oliver is a firm believer in Collaborative Practice as an alternative path for families seeking a healthy resolution to the crisis of divorce, dissolution and break-up.

Ms. Oliver works with families of all configurations in the areas of adoption, guardianship, child custody, separation, and divorce, in designing and implementing resolutions that consider future implications of legal disputes.  The mother of two adult sons, Ms. Oliver resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband.  She is also the Minister of Music at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Woodlawn, Maryland.  Music nourishes her soul.  She is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, the Maryland Collaborative Practice Council, and Howard County Collaborative Professionals, Inc.
